- This section highlights some of the
community features that Turn 10 have planned for FM3. In the E3
interviews they stressed the importance of the community, essentially
being one of the core pillars of the game from its original design.
There are a number of aspects to this element of the game including,
but not limited to:
-
- Storefront
- IGN describes the Storefront like Amazon.com. The
player sets the price for their file (e.g. livery file, tune settings)
and they determine how many they want to sell. The price can be
altered if sales are slow.
-
- Auction House will make a return in FM3, but will
be used to sell one off cars, as the Storefront is much more efficient
for larger scale sales.
Thankfully, FM3 will allow users to police the user
generated content. The player simply files a
complaint and a moderator looks into the claim. Users who make valid
complaints get increased attention and trust from moderators, and if you
make unwarranted complaints about files, your complaints will found at the
bottom of the pile.
-
- Leader boards
- There are six leaderboards set up for
FM3
- racing
- drifting
- livery (paint jobs)
- tuner
- picture
- video
- Online Community
- - ForzaCentral.com
- - ForzaMotorsport.net
