Downloadable content was confirmed
before the games launch, but there have been mixed signals since the
launch. Before the launch, a number of those interviewed
mentioned that there would be cars and tracks although it is
unknown at this time how many of each. The official website's start
page says that there are over 250 cars but only 231 are included in the
launch version, suggesting 20 or more as DLC. There are also rumours that
some of the data for the formula 1 track at Nürburgring is included on
the disk.
There are some things that seem to contradict the addition of DLC. The DLC block on the back of the box was not highlighted and there has been no other mention since then. Some rumours suggest that the DLC will be one of the first items available with the launch of the next upgrade to Live! Update: latest word suggests no DLC will be coming. The team have apparently have decided to go on to FM2 instead.
