After you select Free Run from the Main Menu, you are given three options: Hot lap, Autocross and Point to Point.

Hot Lap: "Practice with any car on any circuit track. Race unlimited numbers of laps." Following your selection of Hot Lap you are presented a list of circuit tracks to choose from.  Following this, you choose your car either from the stock vehicles or from your garage. I believe this is the only place in the single player experience where you will find the Test Track Oval.

Autocross: "Practice with any car on any autocross track. Race through cone gates. Your time is penalized for missing gates and hitting cones." Following your selection of Autocross you are presented a list of the ten autocross tracks to choose from.  Following this, you choose your car either from the stock vehicles or from your garage. I believe this is the only place in the single player experience where you will find the autocross tracks.

Point to Point: "Practice with any car on any point to point track. Race one way from location to location. " Following your selection of Point to Point you are presented a list of point to point tracks to choose from.  Following this, you choose your car either from the stock vehicles or from your garage. I believe this is the only place in the single player experience where you will find the Test Track Drag.
