Tune Car Setup

Modify setup (e.g. spring rates and  gear ratios). Load a previously saved setup.

IGN (Link) - "In the tune section, you are presented with the ability to adjust your tires, gearing, alignment, anti-roll, springs, damping, aero, braking and differentials. Each one shows a graph and offers sliders. Each section also provides explanations of how it affects your car. You can also change your setup at any time, choose Benchmark to see the results of your actions, give it a Test Drive, or Load or Delete a previous car setup."

You'll not only be able to quickly and easily adjust nearly every tunable attribute of your car, including tire pressure, gearing, alignment, anti-roll, springs, damping, aero, braking, and differential, but also Forza's handy benchmarking option allows you to readily test the tangible results of your tuning. Adjust your brakes, for example, and the benchmarking feature will analyze your braking distance, decelerating from both 60mph to 0mph and 100mph to 0mph. Other benchmarks include acceleration (0mph to 60mph and 0mph to 100mph), top speed, quarter-mile time and speed, and lateral Gs. If you want to get beyond the benchmarking numbers, you'll be able to take your tweaked car for a test spin to dial in the best settings for a particular track. (Link)

Tires: change the tire pressure (softer to harder slide scale) - separate pressure for front and back

Gears: change each of the gear ratios individually or collectively.

Alignment: toe-in (front and back), parallelism (front, back), turn out (front back)

Anti-roll bars: front and back (stiffer, softer)

Springs: Springs (front, back) and (stiffer, softer); ground clearance (front, back) and (low, raised)

Shocks: shock dampening (front, back) and (soft, stiff); rebound dampening (front, back) and (soft, stiff)

Aerodynamics: (front, back (wing)) and (speed, downforce)

Braking: Balance (front, back), force (hard, soft) ; handbrake (pressure)

Differential: acceleration (soft hard), deceleration (soft, hard)
