No Announcement :(
Unfortunately there was no announcement today. Microsoft did announce a number of great new features for the 360 that I look forward to trying when they launch later in the year.
I guess this give me more time to figure out a plan of attack for my Forza Motorsport 3 site.

Microsoft's E3 Keynote tommorrow morning
Well, we're almost there. the keynote is tomorrow. 2 years after the keynote that introduced Forza Motorsport 2 and 4 years after the keynote that introduced the original Forza Motorsport.
My hopes are high that we'll get the first details on the next game tomorrow. For up to the minute details, xbox360.ign.com will likely do a live blog. For discussion, as always, my favourite place to go is forzacentral.com .

Early notes
This will be the future home of my fan site. There have not been any announcements yet, but it's a very safe bet that there will be a sequel. Turn 10 Studios, the developer of the Forza Motorsport series is currently hiring, likely for a couple of possible reasons.
1. Bizarre Creations, now that they have been acquired by Activision will most likely start to develop their own IP, leaving it to Microsoft Game Studios to find a studio to develop Project Gotham Racing. It makes sense that Turn 10 Studios the scale up and take on this project.
2. In parallel, the development of Forza Motorsport 3 would likely have started shortly after the release of FM2, with a smaller dedicated team focused on scoping the project and doing the technical feasibility of different options, now expanding into a more fulsome development team as they enter full production.
